HEFFERNAN, Leo Edmund (Retired Ontario Hydro Employee, Member of Union 597-Oshawa). - Peacefully went home to God at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Saturday, March 20, 2004 in his 62nd year. He is survived by his beloved wife Geraldine (Wallace) Heffernan (who will love him forever). Loving brother of 3 sisters Kaye (Mrs. Silvio) Artuso, Guelph, ON, Patsy (Mrs. John) Wallace, Malignant Cove, N.S., and Marion (Mrs. Joe) Neary, Cloverville, N.S., and 4 brothers John (Ruth), Guelph, ON, Frank (Minnie), Antigonish N.S., Bernie (Brenda), Malignant Cove, N.S., and Donald, Georgeville, N.S. Loving son-in-law of Ruth Wallace. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents John Dan Heffernan and Margaret Mary (Gillis) Heffernan, brothers Carmen and Roderick, a sister in infancy and a nephew Paul Artuso. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday (Parish Prayers 8 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 11 a.m. Reverend Marek Ignaszewski officiating. Reception to follow in Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
