LEDINGHAM, John B.A. - On Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 90th year, after a brief illness. Predeceased by Evelyn, his wife of 60 years (1999) and survived by sister Isobel Lymbery of Bobcaygeon. Born in Toronto, John was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 12th Canadian Field Regiment, 43rd Battery RCA in the UK, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, May 1941-September 1945. A longtime employee of Union Carbide in Toronto, he retired in 1976 to Lake St. Peter near Algonquin Park, then to Peterborough in 1985, where, for the past three years he was a resident of Princess Gardens.
