NEWALL/CHICHKAN, Carole (nee Garside) - Passed away at Banwell Gardens on April 7, 2004 at the age of 66 years after a short battle with cancer. Loving eldest daughter of Mrs. Gwen Garside of Extendicare Tecumseh and the late Charles Albert Garside of Peterborough. Loving and most cherished partner of Michael Sr. for 17 years. Best friend and loving sister of Beverley Svarc and brother-in-law Lubomir of Belle River. Survived by Michael Chichkan Jr. and wife Tina, Mark Chichkan and wife Kathy and grandchildren Micheal, Tia and Cody. Also survived by a loving aunt and uncle and cousins of the Garside and Jarvis families. Carole was a graduate of PCVS in Peterborough. She eventually moved to Windsor where she worked for 1AC Niagara, now HSBC for 39 years. Carole was very talented and she loved to play the piano and made many gorgeous knitted and crocheted shawls. She took up paper tole in her spare time with her sis. Resting at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue Windsor, Ontario (1-519-254-3223) on Thursday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
