BROOKS, Fred Thomas - 86, at Extendicare, Peterborough, May 3, 2004. Fred was born in Hamilton and lived most his life there. Husband of Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Brooks. Father of Louise (Louie) Vajdec, Barbara (Michael) Spencer, David (Dorothy) Brooks and Fred Thomas (Trish) Muldowney-Brooks. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Christopher, Robert, Valerie, Whitney, and Tory. Fred was active in the Business Community in Hamilton, retiring from National Trust in 1992. He was a lifetime member of James Street Baptist Church and provided leadership in many community charitable endeavors. Fred's body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy, University of Toronto. Memorial Service for Fred will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, James Street Baptist Church in Hamilton, or the Hamilton Aids Network. 5/5/2004- ID3895382 - Peterborough Examiner
