THOMAS, Arthur James B. Com., C.A. - The family of Arthur James Thomas announces with sadness his passing on June 18, 2004 at the Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved husband of Corinne (Coones). Dear father of Anne, Nora (Frank Turano) and John (Ann Pfohl). Devoted grandfather of Matthew and Scott Turano. Brother of Raymond Thomas of Elora. Uncle of Lisa Smith (Michael Smith), Suzanne Tucker and Michael Thomas (Kim Thomas). Son of the late Nora Kavanagh and Arthur George Thomas. Predeceased by sisters Nora and Mary and brother Leonard. Art began his professional life at Clarkson, Gordon and Co. and continued on in the securities industry serving for several years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Yorkton Securities. Friends may visit at the TURNER AND PORTER BUTLER CHAPEL, 4933 Dundas St E., Etobicoke, (between Islington and Kipling Aves) on Monday, June 21, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor Street West, Etobicoke (One block west of Royal York Road) on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto Western Hospital or St. Joseph's Health Centre would be appreciated by the family. 6/21/2004- ID4230381 - Peterborough Examiner
