JOHNSTON, Richard (Dick) (Past Vice President of G.E. Canada, Peterborough and Toronto, and Veteran of WWII, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy) - At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive site, on Tuesday June 22, 2004. Dick Johnston of Peterborough in his 85th year. Husband of the late Margaret (Miller). Dear father of Susan (Tony Davidson) of Bridgenorth, Mike (Julie) of Fowlers Corners and Lori (Andy Bootsma) of Ajax. Loving grandfather of Leslie (Jerry), Courtney, Michael and Kody. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Road South from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Friday June 25, 2004 followed by a service in the Nisbett Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Marilyn Coward officiating. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Salvation Army Children's Holiday Camp would be appreciated by the family.
