LEVEILLE, Joseph Ernest "Ernie" A resident of Chatham, died peacefully at Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, October 14, 2004 a the age of 77. Born on November 6, 1926, Ernie was the cornerstone of his loving family. He worked for CP Rail for 40 years and was a loyal member of St. Agnes Parish in Chatham. Beloved husband of Marguerite (Phaneuf) Leveille. Loving father of three sons, Bill Leveille and Robin Chartrand; Tom Leveille and his wife Lynn; Jim Leveille and his wife Jackie; and three daughters, Joanne and her husband Bill Canning; Ruthann and her husband Ryan Tinline; and Lisa and her husband Rick Postma, all of Chatham. Proud "Papa" of grandchildren Vickie, Ashley, and Mike Canning; Stephanie, Joseph, and Amanda Leveille; Cullen and Lauren Tinline; Nicole Picard and her husband Todd; and Nicholas and Dillon Postma. Much loved by great grandchildren Alex, Carter, and McKenzie Picard, and Jolie Chartrand. Special brother-in-law of Lydia and her husband Pete Dorian of Tilbury, Penny Phaneuf of Essex, Don Phaneuf and his wife Doreen of Lighthouse Cove, Sid Phaneuf and his wife Laura, and Francis Phaneuf and his wife Shirley, all of Tilbury. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday 2:00 - 4:30 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 40 Croydon Street, Chatham, on Monday October 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
