Willis Eldon Mountain Mr. Willis Eldon Mountain, husband of the late Eileen (Pleadwell) Mountain of Kelly's Special Care Home, Quarryville, passed away Thursday morning May 29, 2008 at his late residence, at the age of 85. Born in Blackville, NB, he was the son of the late Eldon and Maude (Underhill) Mountain. He was retired from CFB Depot, Renous, NB. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 49, Blackville, member of St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville, and was a veteran of WWII. Willis spent his leisure time farming, fishing (Guiding), woodworking, reading and staying tuned to Politics on TV. Always there to lend his family a helping hand with whatever renovation or building project they were doing. He will be sadly missed by his four daughters, Alice Bryenton (Leonard) of Doyle's Brook, Ruth Underhill (Percy) of Blackville, Daphne Marrs of St. John, Lori-Ann Jardine (Lindsay) of Quarryville; one son, Philip Mountain (Pauline) of Moncton; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and his dog Sam. Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, Lloyd, Ralph and Percy; three sisters, Vida Gilks, Lottie Parizon and Rita Johns. Mr. Willis Eldon Mountain will be resting at St. Andrew's United Church Hall, Blackville, with visitation today May 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2 p.m. from St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville, with Rev. Penny Postlewaite officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville, or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
