CANUEL, Lucienne 'Lucie' - Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 at Kingston General Hospital. Lucie Canuel of Trenton in her 85th year. Loving mother of Peter Canuel and his wife Cherry of Louisville, KY; Robert Canuel and wife Beverley of Port Colborne, ON; Lise Preston and her husband Bob of Aurora, ON; Joanne Wilkinson and her husband Glenn of Brandon, MB. Also remembered by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Agnes Coulombe of QC and loving friend and sister Florence Hoehn. Predeceased by daughter Irene Jackson and survived by son-in-law Ross; as well as sisters Therese, Simone, Germaine; brothers Vincent, Philippe, Omer and Paul and Herve Canuel to whom she was married to for thirty-four years. The family welcomes everyone to join them as they celebrate Lucie's life at RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton. The Celebration is on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be said on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Trenton. Father Brian McNally officiating. Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to St. Vincent De Paul Society in care of St. Peter's Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
