VARNEY, ANNIE THERSA Annie Thersa Varney of Woodstock, formerly of Eel River Lake, wife of the late Melvin F. Varney, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 07, 2004, at the age of 75. Born at North Lake, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (O'Heron) Farrell. Annie is survived by a son, Tim Varney (Leslie) of Hartland; a daughter, Barbara King (Cecil) of New Limerick, Maine; seven brothers, Freeman Farrel (Jacqueline) of Fosterville, Lewis Farrell (Doris) of Fosterville, Clayton Farrell of Fosterville, Hedley Farrell (Betty) of Woodstock, Nellis Farrell of Lower Woodstock, Roland Farrell (Deborah) of Fosterville, and Maurice Farrell of Kirkland; two sisters, Joyce Fish of Fosterville and Jane Farrell of Woodstock; five grandchildren, Shelley Foster (Rodney), Kelly King, Beth Tompkins (Tom), Karen Shannon (Daniel), and Kevin King; four great grandchildren, Desireé Shannon, Dynll Shannon, Wyatt Tompkins, and Samuel Foster; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leonard Cousins will be officiating, with interment in the Lower Fosterville Cemetery.
