Ian Jeffery MacLeod May 08, 1976 - October 09, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) MacLEOD, Ian Jeffery - 28, Fall River, passed away peacefully, October 9, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, he was the oldest son of Wendall and Marilyn (Sharpe) MacLeod. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Fall River Area Fire Service for a number of years. He was employed at the Airport Hotel for a number of years before his illness. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Darren (Amanda), and Cory; his special nephew, Kaleb, and his maternal grandfather, Albert Sharpe. He was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Florence Sharpe; uncle, Vaughn Sharpe; paternal grandparents, Murray and Emily MacLeod. Arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, and funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Ian's memory to The Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Kidney Foundation of Canada.
