DUNLOP, LAURA GERTRUDE Laura G. Dunlop of Burtt's Corner and formerly of Hartfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at home. Born in Hartfield, NB on September 21, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Helard and Martha (Schriver) Stairs. Laura enjoyed knitting and visiting with her many friends and family. Laura is survived by two sisters, Velma Peterson of Attleboro, Mass. and Elva Price of Fredericton; two brothers, Eldridge Stairs (Marjorie) of Fredericton and Harold Stairs (Shirley), of Burtt's Corner; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce A. Dunlop on April 9, 1999, two brothers, Dowie Stairs and George Stairs and two brothers-in-law, Louis Peterson and Archie Price. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 2 p.m. from the Hartfield Free Will Baptist Church, Hartfield, NB with Rev. Wayne Schriver officiating assisted by Rev. Ivan Carr. Interment will be in the Hartfield Cemetery.
