SABATTIS, LEONARD JOHN "BIG LEN" The passing of Leonard John Sabattis of Kingsclear NB occurred on Sunday, October 10th at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was 34. Roman Catholic by faith, he was born in Fredericton NB, and was the son of June Sabattis and Phillip Atwin. Besides his parents he is survived by a stepfather Warren Nash, brothers Karl Sabattis, Buck Solomon, Derek Solomon, Nathan Atwin and Jimmy Sabattis all of Kingsclear, sisters Carla Sabattis of Membertou First Nation in Sydney NS, Shelly Sabattis of Kingsclear, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. He was predeceased by "Momma and Dadda" Mary Alice Sabattis and John Frank Sabattis. Resting at home, 604 Apartment Lane Kingsclear First Nation, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4, and 7-9 pm, with the funeral service on Friday at 11am at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Kingsclear, with Father Bonnaventure Annis officiating.
