BISHOP, EVELYN RUTH Evelyn Ruth Bishop of Minto, NB was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 16th, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Newcastle Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Leah (Langin) Jardine. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Judy Tissington (Bernard) of Saint John and Iris Pitre (Brian) of Minto; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Jeanne White (Bob) of Fredericton; two sisters, Margaret Anne Darrah (Wendell) of Grand Bay and Sharon Jardine of Victoria, B.C.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ross W. Bishop in 2003 and two brothers, Kenneth Jardine and Elmer Jardine. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 20th, 2004 in the Parker Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kaj Binderup officiating. Interment will follow in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman. For those who wish, donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
