CAISSIE, JOSEPH ALYRE "JOE" The death of Joseph "Joe" Alyre Caissie of Oromocto, NB occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, October 17th, 2004. Born in St. Gilbert, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Sylvere and Margaret (Aucoin) Caissie and husband of Olive (Cormier) Caissie. Survived by his wife, Olive of Oromocto, N.B.; one daughter, Sharon Caissie of Fredericton, N.B.; three sons, Ernie (Phyllis) of Fredericton, N.B., Bob (Debbie) of Saint John, N.B. and Rick of Burton, N.B.; six grandchildren, Jason (Aleta), Ryan, Aaron, Sheena, Christopher and Jonathan; one great grandson, Chase; one brother, Ernest (Ella) of Miscouche, P.E.I.; four sisters, Rosie Arsenault of Wellington, P.E.I., Melva Cormier (Fred) of Oyster Bridge, P.E.I., Rita Arsenault of Summerside, P.E.I., Alvina Arsenault of Lake Echo, N.S. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Francis and one sister, Theresa. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 19th, 2004 from 7- 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 20th, 2004 at 11:00 am. Father Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated. www.oromoctofh.com
