Therese Vienneau nee: Cote, of Hearst The funeral service for Hearst resident Thérèse (née Côté) Vienneau, 70, of Prince St. is to held April 5 (Thursday), 2007. She died April 1 at Notre-Dame Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born Feb. 6, 1937 in Val Côté, she was a courageous, big-hearted, jovial, smiling person who enjoyed bingo, gardening, fishing, walking, and passing time with family. Predeceased by her husband Armand Vienneau of Hearst (2006) as well as two sisters and three brothers, she leaves daughters Jacqueline (Don) Bothwell of Kapuskasing, Denise Vienneau of Stratford, Ont., and Linda (Réal Bernier) Vienneau of Hearst, and brothers Guy (Line) and Réal (Francine), all of Hearst, and René Vienneau of Fergus. Also surviving are sisters Jeannine (Armand) Samson of Hearst and Laurette (David) Bois of Fort Frances, brothers Roland (Rollande) and Joseph (Pierrette), all of Hearst, and Raymond (Pierrette) Côté of Lorette-Ville, Qué., and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rev. Rémi Lessard is to direct the 10:30 a.m. service at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral. Interment will be at Monsignor Grenier Cemetery.
