Joseph "Joe" Dominic Salciccioli August 25, 1955 - October 19, 2004 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joe, at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday October 19, 2004, at the age of 49, after a courageous battle with cancer. Joe spent his final days with his loving family and friends. Joe was the cherished and loving husband of Marilyn (Bianchi) for 25 years. Loving and devoted father of Andrea and Samantha, who will greatly miss his ever dedicated, supportive & loving presents in their lives. Beloved son of Elodia and the late Salvatore Salciccioli. Dearest brother of Enia Quaglia. Beloved son-in-law of the late Italo and Francesca Bianchi. Dearest Brother-in-law of Sandra and Tom Molinga. Joe will be sadly missed by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, dear friends, co-workers and all the soccer players Joe has had the pleasure of coaching. Joe was a Shift Foreman at Stelco in the # 1 Bar Mill with 27 years of service and owner and operator of ANSA Landscaping and Snow Plowing for over 10 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and executive committee member and coach of the East Hamilton Soccer Club for over 13 years and recipient of the Outstanding Sport Volunteer Award 2004. Joe will always be remembered as a good man, who loved his family and friends, who brought joy to their lives, and with a smile on his face was always there to lend a helping hand. Joe’s family would welcome messages of condolence at friscolanti.com Visitations will be held at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL. 43 Barton St. East (near James) on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-9 p.m. The vigil prayers will be on Thursday 8:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be on Friday 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave.) with interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud St. Stoney Creek, Ont. Our great appreciation for all their compassion and care goes out to Dr. Anil Kapoor, Dr. Britt Tisdale, nurses and staff in the Urology unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, V.O.N. & C.C.A.C., and a special thanks to Dr. John Corsini. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Urology Unit c/o St. Joseph's Health Care Center, the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. “ALWAYS REMEMBERED - ALWAYS LOVED”
