Mrs. Margaret Strohm (née Crichton) December 02, 1914 - October 21, 2004 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home STROHM: Margaret (nee Crichton) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on October 21, 2004 at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Mervin (1982). Loving mother of Margaret Thomas and husband Peter, of London; Marilyn Vajdik and husband Tom of Amherstburg and Barbara Dear mother-in-law of Jo-Ann and Greg Skomash. Predeceased by her children Eileen (1970) and Mervin (Bud) (1980). Predeceased by sister Emily Warren and brother William Crichton. Cherished grandmother of James Strohm, Matthew and Michael Thomas, Shannon Girard, Sean and B.J. Strohm, Joseph Vajdik and great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Margaret retired after 35 years of teaching in the elementary panel with the Essex County Public School Board. Visiting Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (736-2134). Funeral Saturday October 23, 2004 at Christ Anglican Church, 317 Ramsay St., Amherstburg from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m.. Interment at Victoria Memorial Cemetery. If you so desire donations to Community Living Essex County or Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret Strohm in the Sutton Heritage Forest.
