OBITUARY GERRY KIRWAN Peacefully on June 28, 2008 at Ste Anne's Veterans' Hospital in his eighty-fourth year. He will be missed by Isabelle (Baker) his wife of 59 years. Beloved father of Jo-Anne, Jill, Janice (Peter), and special Grampa to Dr. Kim Holzman, Jennifer and Lauren Cullen, Tim and Molly Morse. Thanks to Dr. Nguyen and dedicated staff of Unit 2A at Ste Anne's. Heartfelt thanks to the hospital volunteers especially cousin Maureen Temple Howlett. Born in Montreal on March 1, 1924, Gerry served overseas in WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was an avid sportsman, particularly when it came to baseball and horses. He was an elder and choir member of Ephraim Scott Memorial Church. Gerry's love of acting and music began with the Little Players of the Air and continued into his adult years. He was a lifetime member of the Fossil's Service Club: singing, dancing and composing both music and lyrics for the annual shows. His love of the performing arts became the legacy of his children and grandchildren. Fondly remembered Greatly missed Love you forever A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
