M. Azilda Cyr June 10, 1912 - October 22, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Castle Funeral Home-Fallsview Chapel At the Loch Lomond Villa on October 22, 2004, Mary Azilda (St. Jarre) Cyr, age 92 formerly of 512 McKeil St., Saint John NB. Wife of the late Leonide Cyr, she was born in St. Hilaire, NB a daughter of the late Hilaire and Sarah Nadeau. Azilda was proud of the 6 sons she raised. While doing so, she worked at the Rectory of St. Rose de Lima Church. Later in life, she worked as a sales associate at Calp's Ltd. where she achieved Record Sales Awards. Even after retirement, she continued to deliver her rolls and apple pies to the parish priests until 1996. She was a member of the CWL, enjoyed bowling and travelling south of the border. Surviving are 6 sons; Gerry and his wife Pat of Vancouver BC, Rene and his wife Jo of Ottawa Ont., Roger and his wife Paula of Rothesay NB, Robert and his wife Barb of Halifax NS, Dr. Phillip and his wife Marilyn of Halifax NS and Donald and his wife Darlene of Saint John NB, 2 brothers; Rene St. Jarre and Joseph St. Jarre both of Edmonston, NB,2 sisters; Georgie Nadeau and Hilda Nadeau, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Leonide, a daughter Collette and several brothers and sisters. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., West Saint John (634-1701) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at St. Rose de Lima Roman Cartholic Church. Visiting at Fallsview on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Donations to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of your choice.
