Donald H. Kay Donald H. Kay, 70, of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Born in Moncton, son of the late Harold and Mildred (Powell) Kay. Don was a retired parts and service manager (1994) at MacDonald Pontiac Buick with over 30 years in the automotive industry. He was a member of Mount Royal United Church and the Church Council. In past years he served his church on various boards, committees and volunteered his help in various other capacities. He was a former member of The Moncton Volunteer Firefighter's Association #1 Hose Company (1960-90). He was a member of The Moncton Citation Indians Trailer Club, Perfect Circle, Sussex Kings and Maritime Twin Seas Caravan Club (over 40 years of camping and R-Ving with old and new friends whom they met on their many years of travelling). In retirement, Don enjoyed wood-working, his handy work is enjoyed by many. Don will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Margaret (Matchett) Kay; daughters, Donna Beers (Dana), Moncton, Dianne Kay (Pierre), Fredericton; son, David (Dorothy), Edmonton, AB; his special grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Jennifer and Michael; two cousins, Bob and Joyce. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Bruce. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995) Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Mount Royal United Church Sunday October 31, 2004, 3pm. Rev. Valerie Temes-Taylor officiating.
