Arthur Evans Lawson February 18, 1920 - July 14, 2008 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur, on July 14, 2008, at the age of 88 years, at McMaster Medical Centre. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Mary and daughters Flora (Stan) Simmons, Linda (Doug) Opperman. Survived by his daughters Jackie Corbett and Darlene Lawson. Loving Papa of Danny (Lisa), David, Dorothy, Jeff (Priscilla), Greg (Lisa), Shelley (Mark), Julie (John), Lisa (Ryan), Ryan (Amy) and twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Maurice (late Jean), George (Jean), Fred (late Maxine), Albert (Joanne), Bev (Ed), and the late Howard, Marg (George), Sylvie (Walt), Louise, brother-in-law of Merle, and Ray. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends. Arthur was retired from Kenilworth Spring Service with over 35 years of service. Served in the Canadian Armed Forces in the Tank Corps. Arthur was an avid camper at Willow Lake Camp in Scotland for over 30 years. He will be missed by his cribbage pals. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
