Treasured godmother to David Wilder and Anne-Marie Roy. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues and many friends. Suzanne was born in Barber's Bay and raised in South Porcupine. She was a precious and devoted grade 1 teacher for 33 years at St. Jude's School in Porcupine, who dedicated her entire life to her grade 1 angels and to her family. Everyday of her life Suzanne touched the lives of everyone she knew. From the onset of her illness, she never gave up. Through her pain, at any given time, she continued to put everyone before her. Although the last 3 years were spent fighting cancer, her devotion to her faith, family, friends, and colleagues never once altered. She would not allow her sickness to take control of her life. The support of her husband and Matante Aurore will never be forgotten. "When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good Miss me — but let me go" Donations to The House of Kin and Ecole St. Jude's — Playground will be graciously received through the funeral home. A funeral service to celebrate Suzanne's life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM at Paroisse St. Joachim's Church with Father Mitch Sliwa and Father Maurice Magnan officiating assisted by organist Wendy DeCario. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
