TUNNEY, Alice M. (nee Reading) ---- In loving memory of Alice M. Tunney (nee Reading), 79 years of Lively, who passed away Saturday, May 15, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and married Russell Tunney in 1947 in London. Beloved wife of Russell Tunney of Lively. Loving mother of Linda Henry of Sesekinika, Dale Murphy (husband Bob) of Tecumseh, Lorraine McWatty (husband Steven) of Orleans and Suzie O'Neill (husband James) of Lively. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Kate Henry, Nathan Henry, Dr. Rebecca Kayser, Aeron Duffy, Rachel Bicchierai, Jessica O'Neill, Jonathan Murphy, Darren McWatty, Emma McWatty and Jessie-Lynn McWatty and 5 1/2 great grandchildren. Dear sister of James Reading of Port Franks and Bob Reading (wife Doreen) of Washington State. Predeceased by her parents James and Kate Reading and sister Nelsie Sellwood. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. For many years, Aly was an active member of Copper Cliff United Church as Sunday School Teacher, UCW and choir member. To everyone who helped care for and support Aly and her family this past year, the staffs of the 4th and 5th floors of St. Joseph's Health Centre and the 4th floor, Palliative Care, Laurentian Hospital. Dr. Jane Cox, Dr. Julie Bowen and Reverend James Clarke, sincerest thanks and appreciation. A Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4th floor Palliative Care (SRH) or the Copper Cliff United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday).
