Elizabeth Theresa TOMAN

Elizabeth "Betty" Theresa Kresack (née Toman) - November 14, 1920 - May 25, 2004 - aged 83 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at St. Joseph's Care Group. Betty was born in Fort William to Helen and Peter Toman and she was educated in local schools. She married John Kresack on October 5, 1937 and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1987, and have been together 67 years. She was employed with Woolworth's as a Supervisor, retiring in 1980. Betty's main interests were her home, family, gardening and crocheting. She was a member of St. Agnes Church. Survived by husband John at home, son Ron (Joan) and daughter Eleanor Jensen. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, sister Helen Chovancah of Stoney Creek and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, a daughter in infancy and sister Anne Kolarski. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2004 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue. Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Kresack will be held on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home with Father Campbell officiating.
