Terry Marie MUNROE

Terry Marie Goldring (née Munroe) - March 31, 1947 - May 29, 2004 - GOLDRING (Munroe), Terry Marie - 57, Lower Sackville, passed away May 29, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Gerald "Russell" Munroe and the late Eva Mae Cochrane Fehr and the stepdaughter of Dorothy Jean Gillett. Born March 31, 1947, Terry was much loved by family and friends. She was a student at Queen Elizabeth High School and Halifax Vocational School. Possessed of a strong work ethic, she worked at Capitol Stores, Farmer's Dairy, Central Trust and N.P.F. at C.F.B. Stadacona. She was involved with the Sackville Minor Hockey Association and as a true "Hockey Mom", was an active supporter and tireless fundraiser. Terry lived an amazing life, being kind to all who knew her, loving family and friends unconditionally. After retirement, which she enjoyed tremendously, she spent many hours doing special things with her husband and children, parents, sisters, brothers, and many many wonderful friends, especially Hannah LeBlanc. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and sister-in-law, who loved laughter and life, living it to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Surviving are her husband, Ronald Gary; daughter, Tracey (Johnny Middleton), Dartmouth; son, Christopher "Brent" (Danielle Naas), Lower Sackville; brothers, Jeffrey Fehr, Halifax; Frank Munroe (Kathy), Hammonds Plains; sisters, Cheryl Munroe, Toronto; Donna Lamy (Roger), Lower Sackville; Marjorie Nixon (Kevin Poirier), Halifax; niece, Jennifer Lamy, Lower Sackville; nephews, Philip Lamy, Halifax; Nicholas Thow, Halifax; grandniece, Chloe, Halifax; grandnephew, Anthony, Halifax. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 12-1 p.m. Wednesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Reception Centre, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Flowers from family only.
