Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Mary Wideski (née Cumming) - September 24, 1930 - May 29, 2004 - Age 73. Born in Fort Smith, N.W.T., after marrying Joe, September 28th, 1951, they moved to Richmond, B.C., where they had been married for almost 53 years. Predeceased by her mother Ernestine, father Gordon, sister Agnes (Sy) and brother Gordon (Dorothy). She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Joe and children: Mike, Karen, Jo-ann (Pat) and Ken; her grandchildren: Eli, Vanessa, Jackie, Joey, Valerie and Victoria. Jackie also has sisters Isabelle, Lorraine (Bill), brother Sy (Frances) from Fort Smith and sisters Leona, Jerry (George) and Dot (Ed) from Alberta and nearest sister Ida (Mike) from Delta who spent many hours by Jackie's bedside. Jackie also had many other in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends that will miss her. A few of her favourite pastimes were playing bingo with her bingo buddies, listening to country music and watching her favourite baseball team on T.V. (The Blue Jays.) Thanks to the staff of Richmond General Hospital and Minoru Residence where she passed away. The family will receive their friends on Sunday, June 6th from 1:15 - 1:45 p.m. at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. with a Service following at 2:00 p.m. Phone number: 604-273-3748.
