Mrs. Sadie Ramsay (née McMillan) - August 05, 1913 - June 25, 2004 - (Long time member of St. James United Church). Surrounded by her family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Friday June 25, 2004. Sadie (McMillan) of Peterborough in her 91st year. Wife of the late Walter Ramsay. Dear mother of Sylvia (Donald Drummond) of Hastings and Lloyd of Ennismore. Mother-in-law to Sylvia Ramsay. Loving grandmother of Debbie (Jim Bottomley), Wendy (Rodger Adlam), Scott Ramsay (Courtney), Angela Ramsay and great grandmother to Josh, Tyler and Deserea. Sister of the late Blanche Sutherland, Russ, Orville, Lorne and Mack McMillan and Marie Stewart. Sister-in-law to Dell and Ruby McMillan, Lillian Ramsay and Walter Stewart. Sadie will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service from the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. Peterborough, (705) 745-3211, on Wednesday June 30, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation two hours prior. Rev. Dr. Paul Currie officiating. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
