Karen Hemmings (nee Stewart) ---- On July 15, 2004 Karen Ann Hemmings of Edmonton, left us far too soon at the age of 61 years after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Karen is survived by her loving husband Robert; one daughter Tanya; sisters, Verna (Chick) Brown, Faye (Allan) Hemmings and Shelley Stewart; brothers, Gary (Valerie) Stewart and Wayne (Lou) Stewart; Brother-in-law Kenny (Ginny) Hemmings and sister-in-law Susan (Grant) Magnuson; 22 nieces and nephews 14 great nieces and nephews and 1 great- great nephew as well as numerous. She was predeceased by her loving parents Margaret and step- father Richard (“Dick”) Shulz. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 14320 - 94 Street, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2. Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Home
