SEABROOKE, Ellwood Campbell “Red“ - Suddenly on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Braidwood Bible Chapel in his 84th year. Loving husband of Gertrude (nee Rose) for 60 years. Devoted father of Karen and her husband Mel Kimball, Dan and his wife Shelley, David and his wife Carina, Ron and his wife Winn, Gord and his wife Heather, Steven and his wife Karen and Mary Anne and her husband Jay. Ellwood is survived by his brother Grant and his wife Ruth. He was a grandfather of 18 and a great- grandfather of 5. Predeceased by his parents George and Sophie Seabrooke and his siblings Meryl Bray, Harvey, Clarence and Vern. Ellwood was a longtime member of Braidwood Bible Chapel and the proud owner of Ellwood Seabrooke Motors. Ellwood's family would like to thank all the members of Braidwood Bible Chapel for their loving and thoughtful care at this time. Friends may visit from 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Braidwood Bible Chapel, 306 Braidwood Avenue with visitation one hour prior and interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
