Gisele Marie Beaulieu (nee: Poulin), of Hearst ---- Date of Death: July 28th, 2004 ---- The funeral service for longtime Hearst resident Gisèle Marie (née Poulin) Beaulieu, 73, of 18 Fontaine Dr. was held Aug. 2, 2004. She died July 28th at home. Born March 31, 1931 in Laurierville, Mégantic, Quebec, she came to Hearst around 1950. Employed at Neway Cleaners for some 15 years until the early 1980s, she later joined the Hearst Club soleil des aîné-e-s seniors club and Les Dynamiques. A persevering person, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing, reading, animals, volunteer work and inviting family for Sunday dinner. Predeceased by her husband Réal Beaulieu in 1994, she leaves her daughters Monique (Donald) Russell of Ottawa, Denise (François) Blanchard of Longlac, and Laurette Beaulieu, Micheline (Normand) Néron and Francine (Michel) Lamontagne, all of Hearst, and a son Michel (Ginette) Beaulieu of Hearst. Also surviving are her sisters Thérèse (Paul) and Marguerite (Claude), all of Sudbury, Cécile and Marie-Berthe, both of Montreal, Germaine of Terrebonne, Hélène and Gertrude (Aldé), all of Rouyn-Noranda, Que., and brothers Maurice and Raymond (Isabelle), all of Montreal, and Paul Beaulieu of Rouyn-Noranda, as well as 14 grandchildren. An autopsy was performed in Thunder Bay. Rev. Gérald Chalifoux was to direct the service at Église St-Pie-X. Interment was at Monsignor Grenier Cemetery. Funeral director was the Salon Lafrance Funeral Home. Commemorative donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
