Bernice Cecila Julian ---- March 14, 1942 - July 30, 2004 ---- 62 yrs, Cole Harbour, passed away peacefully Friday, July 30, 2004, in the Palliative Care Unit, VG Site, QEII. Born March 14, 1942, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Edna (Kenefick) Pye. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be sadly missed and will forever be in our hearts. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, going fishing and spending time at her camp in Sheet Harbour. Bernice is survived by her husband, Jacques Harrisson; daughters, Heather (Lyle), Ontario; Barbara (Thomas), Cole Harbour; sons, Johny (Christine), Windsor; Wayne (Ann), Mineville; Russell (Darlene), Halifax; William (Kathleen), British Columbia; stepsons, Mike, British Columbia; Kenney, Mark, Newfoundland; sisters, Jean, Beaver Bank; Gwen, Fall River; Rose Marie, Sackville; Josephine, Hammonds Plains; Debbie, Bedford; brothers, Ken, Ontario; Ron, Leo, Bedford; Earl, Beaver Bank; Cecil, Parrsboro; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, Madeline; brothers, Joseph, Frederick, Donald, Gerald. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, with funeral service to be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Private family interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception for all will follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre. Family flowers only.
