Sister Irene Martin Sister Irene Martin, 94, passed away on July 28, 2008 in Halifax. Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Martin. She was predeceased by three sisters, Catherine, Hectorine and Alma and one brother Walter Martin. She will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Mount St. Vincent Chapel and burial was in "Stairway to Heaven" cemetery in lower Sackville, NS.
