LARKIN, Ruth (nee Groucott). Of Aurora, formerly of Burlington and Montreal, peacefully in her eighty-third year at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 30, 2004. Born in Stafford, England in 1922 to Cornelius and Eva Groucott. Loving wife to Tom for fifty-eight years. Dear mother to Judith Anne (Judy) and friend Brenda Sutherland, Michael Thomas and wife Katherine. Cherished grandmother to Heather, David and Greg Galoska, Kate, Tom and Beth Larkin. Special thanks to the residents and staff at Park Place Manor Retirement Residence in Aurora for their kindness and love over the past two years. Warm appreciation from the family to the sixth floor nursing staff at Southlake for their comfort and support. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church (D'Arcy and Church St.), Newmarket on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at Michael and Katherine's following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the York-Durham Aphasia Centre (12184 Ninth Line, Stouffville, Ontario L4A 3N6) would be appreciated by Ruth.
