Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre Passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital on Monday, August 18th-2008. Born in Straubing, Germany, on November 4th, 1923. Predeceased by his first wife, Pansy, and sister, Mary Stewart. Lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Arlene: brother, George Maier, sisters Carol Wright & Frances Sherlock: numerous nieces & nephews, step family Doug (Jeanette) McLean and their children, Amelie & Miranda of Mill Bay, and Craig (Ann) McLean of Langley. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at the H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 251 Jubilee St., Duncan BC on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desired memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the charity of ones choice.
