BEALS, Eric George. Went home to glory, October 1, 2004, aged 83 years. Predeceased (April 18, 2004) by wife Iris (married 60 years). Survived by sons Philip (Trish), Stephen (Marlene), Reed (Tammy) and Jamie (Kim), all of Ottawa, who gave him 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also greatly missed by friend Norma of Ottawa. Pre-deceased by brother Reginald Stewart Dunn, December 21, 2000. Visiting with the family at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Tuesday, October 5, 2004, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Two memorial services will be held in celebration of his life. The family memorial service will take place at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. A Memorial Service will also be held in celebration of his life and work at Westboro Baptist Church, 307 Richmond Rd. Ottawa at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2004. Eric Beals was honoured last fall as a life time Pastor Emeritus at Westboro Baptist Church. He was Associate Pastor for some time in the late 1980s. He also was an advisor and a great encouragement. His wisdom, humour and many faithful contributions will be missed. Glory to God. The Ottawa Citizen
