JORDAN, Lorne Hamilton Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 1st, 2004 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy May (nee Darling) of Chesterville. Loving father of Wayne (Freida) of Chesterville, Garry (Regina) of North Gower and Linda (Stephen) Hess of Whitby. Survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and sister Marion Jackson of Cornwall. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Martha (nee Hamilton) Jordan and sisters Glowena Girdwood and Kathleen Flegg. Lorne was a member of Trinity United Church, a past elder of the Church, Member of Session and a past Master of Chesterville Masonic Lodge #320. Resting at the Chesterville Funeral Home, 62 Queen Street, Chesterville, where family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, October 4th, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Lorne would be appreciated by the family. The Ottawa Citizen
