MOREHOUSE, CHESTER The passing of Chester "Milton" Morehouse of Fredericton, NB, husband of Chloe E. (Brewer) Morehouse, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 28, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 19, 1938, he was the son of Alice (Marr) Morehouse and the late Chester Morehouse. Milton worked for Diamond Construction as a Surface Blaster for 28 years. He was a member of Robin's and Young at Heart Seniors Group in Burtt's Corner. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, furniture refinishing, bird carving, hunting and vegetable gardening. In addition to his wife, Milton is survived by his daughter, Diedre Wilson (Chris) of Fredericton, NB; his son, Calvin Morehouse (Tina) of Estey's Bridge, NB; grandchildren, Kyle Brewer, Jacob and Samuel Wilson, Kristen, Katie and Ashton Morehouse; brother, Albert Morehouse (Marie-Reine) of Lower Sackville, NS; sisters, Marie Green of Fredericton, NB and Juanita Carr (Glen) of Oromocto, NB and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Burtt's Corner Baptist Church on Sunday August 31, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Burtt's Corner Baptist Church on Monday September 1, 2008 at 3 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Zealand Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or the Kidney Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
