Mary Mildred Geraldin BURNS

TRUE, Mary Mildred Geraldine, a long time resident of Fredericton, passed away on August 30, 2008 in her 102nd year. Born in Bartholomew on September 23, 1906, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Burns and Martha (Schofield) Burns. Gerry as she was known lived and worked in Fredericton most of her adult life. She spent the last few years as a resident of Evelyn Grove Manor and the York Manor Nursing Home. Gerry is survived by one sister, Sister Helen Burns of Miramichi and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, George True; her twin sister, Lavine MacDonald, sisters, Effie Randall and Cora McEvoy Watson; four brothers, Lloyd, Clayton, Carman and Burton. Resting at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, with visiting hours on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Fredericton on Tuesday at 10 am with Father Monte Peters as celebrant.
