D'ARCY, Isabelle Grace (MACPHERSON) - The death of Isabelle Grace (MacPherson) D'Arcy occurred at her home on Monday, September 8, 2008. Wife of the late James S. D'Arcy. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Aitken) MacPherson. She is survived by one son, James D'Arcy Jr. (Sharon); a daughter, Peggy Harcourt (Richard), of Oakville Ont.; one grandson, Brian D'Arcy; two granddaughters, Dawna D'Arcy and Michelle Harcourt; one great granddaughter, Cameron D'Arcy; two brothers Douglas MacPherson (Betty) and Alastair MacPherson (Pheobe), both of Saint John; two sisters, Margaret (Mrs. N. E. Lacey), of Etobicoke, Ont. and Maisie (Mrs. K. N. Melvin) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Donald and Alexander MacPherson. Isabelle was a member of the St. Mark's United Church, Nereides Temple #78 Daughters of the Nile & the Independent Order of Foresters. She was Secretary Treasurer for 27 years for D'Arcy Welding Co. Ltd. until her retirement in 1981. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Fernhill Cemetery. A reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre will follow the interment.
