McLAUGHLIN, Aileen. 1916 - 2004 In hospital on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, Aileen McLaughlin (nee Cuddihy), beloved wife of the late Walter McLaughlin of Venosta, Quebec. Dear mother of Peter (Betty Duncan), Mavis (Pat Henry), Ira (Lorraine O'Connor), Judy (Bill Sullivan), Barbara (Elvyn Mahoney), David (Susan Alexander), and Allen. Loving grandmother to Leanne (Bruce Reid), Steven (Kelly McTavish), Corey, Scott (Jeannie Peck), Brett (Bonnie McDermid), Robin (Jamie Monette), Derek, Maura, Wade, Erin and great-grandmother to Shannon, John, Lauren and Evan. Dear sister of Patrick Cuddihy. Survived by one sister-in-law Margaret Cuddihy. Predeceased by parents Joe Cuddihy and Margaret Gannon, sister Ethel O'Connor and brother Jimmy. Friends may visit at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street, Ottawa on Friday, October 8 between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m., and at the Venosta Recreation Centre on Saturday after 9 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Venosta.
