HARE, William Andrew 1908 - 2008 (RETIRED DUPONT 1973) - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, August 29, 2008. Loving husband of the late Ellen Mills (1989), and dear father of Barbara Hagerman (late Earl), Mary Arthur & her husband Earle, Arnold and his wife Brenda. Cherished grandpa of Cynthia Hagerman, Kate Reid (Dan), Gordon Arthur (Jackie), Scott Arthur, Lauren (Chris Darnell), Melani (Steve Gervis), Randy Hare (Katherine). Special great grandpa of Mitchell & Tyler Reid, Grace Arthur, Sydney & Evan Darnell & Emerson Andrew Hare. Survived by his sisters Edith Berry & Bernice Casnaw, sisters-in-law Bette Hare, Iva Hare, Rita Hare, Hilda Mills & Mary Benn, who has been a dear friend and fellow resident of Helen Henderson Care Centre. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME, Main St., Odessa 613-386- 7373 on Tuesday, September 2 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A celebration of Andrew's life will be held in Bath United Church on Wednesday at 11am with Rev. Arlyce Schiebout officiating. Interment in Bath United Church Cemetery. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre for their care and support. Sincere thanks to the staff at Kingston General Hospital for the quality care given this very special man, including the teams from emergency, orthopedics, recovery and palliative care.
