APPEL, Mollie. Peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2004 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Moe Appel. Loving mother of Barry (Adriana) of Vancouver, BC. Cherished grandmother of Brian, Kathy and Natalie. Mollie is survived by her brother-in-law Toby Appel and sisters-in-law Freda Appel and Faye Karon of Hamilton. Predeceased by sisters Sonia Snyder, Claire Tanner, Roz Cohen and brother Myer Karon. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue on Monday, October 11th, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Those wishing may make donations to Hillel Lodge (728-3900). Many thanks to Dr. Arlene Rosenbloom and the staff of Central Park Lodge for their care and compassion over the past many months.
