GILLARD, Frederick Albert Ernest - August 31, 1924 - September 8, 2008 Veteran WW2 - Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. Suddenly, at home, on September 8, 2008 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Jane Gillard (nee Kellar). Dear father of Suzanne (David) of Whitby, Debbie (Rob) of Tyrone and Havelock and Cindy (Keith) of Burk's Falls. Loving grandfather of Lisa, Christina, Susie (Pete), Billy and Rhianon. Cherished great-grandfather of David. Predeceased by parents Alfred James and Christina Gillard (nee Marrison), and his brother, Alfred William (Jim). Survived by brothers Robert, Herbert (Sandy) and Ivor (Jim) wife Jennifer. Also survived by his sister Ida Ellen (Nelly) and her husband George James. Sadly missed by his loyal companion Pepper. The family held a private farewell at the Brett Funeral Home, Havelock on September 12, 2008. Cremation to follow. If desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. 11241156
