GUTTIN, Bill. Passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2004 at the Ottawa General Hospital with his family at his side. Born January 31, 1939. Survived by his wife Fay, daughter Phemie and her husband Alain and granddaughter Molly. Will be missed by his brothers Max (Jackie) and Doug (Jose). A special thank-you to the care he received during his illness at the Montfort Hospital (3rd floor), General Hospital (7th floor) and ICU. A memorial service will be held today at Robert Simpson Park in Arnprior at 1:30 and there will be a gathering at the family's house after. Another memorial service will be held in the early spring in Owen Sound. For those of you who knew him there couldn't be a more appropriate spot! The family has requested that no floral arrangements be sent, but donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated. He touched so many people in so many ways that there is no way to describe the sadness that is felt by his family and friends. The Ottawa Citizen
