SCHOORMAN, Jacob Sr. - Peacefully, at Bluewater Health C.E.E. Site on Friday, September 5, 2008, Jacob Schoorman Sr., age 87 of Wyoming. Beloved husband of Sophie Schoorman for over 59 years. Dear father of Jacob Jr. and his wife Judy. Jacob was born in 1921 in Bunderhammrich, Germany and was the eldest of 14 children. He was well-known as a building contractor in Lambton County from 1964 to 1985. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home, Sarnia at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery.
