GRIFFIN, Gerald (Retired Farmer) Honorary life member Knights of Columbus August 6, 1913 - October 19, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Joseph Griffin, surrounded by his family, on October 19, 2004, in his 92nd year. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Loyola (Butler) Griffin. Loved and respected father of Grace Seaby (Brian Kent), Ottawa; Lorraine, Aurora; Steve (Bonnie Lovett), Unionville; Tom (Eva Rivet), Bryson; Edward (Micheline Dugas), White Lake; Colleen, Ottawa; Bob (Griet Bruining), Calumet Island; Eric (Val Durocher), Calumet Island; Carmel (Charles Samphire), Calgary. Devoted grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Ellen Chorich, North Bay; Dorothy (George Shiles), Ottawa; Veronica Kirland, Chicago; Ann (Ivan Lacey), Alaska; Martina (Bonny Almeida), San Francisco and Millie (Clyde Lovingood), Dallas. Predeceased by sons Martin (Pauline Rouleau) and Richard (Aline Flood) and his sister Mary McGarrity. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Campbell's Bay Quebec, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Friday after 9 a.m. Funeral Friday, October 22 to Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson Quebec for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Anne's Cemetery, Calumet Island.
