HUESTIS, Rick (Frederick Roy) It is with great sadness that Rick's family announces his passing at age 51 in Calgary, Alberta on October 27, 2004, after a six-month battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed by his two sons: Michael and Kyle; their mother Belinda; and his mother Kathleen. Also by his brothers: Dave and his wife Julie and their children Nicolas and Rebecka of Calgary; Don and his sons Dan and Rob of Red Deer and Edmonton; Tim and his wife Cindy and their sons Corey and Jason of Calgary; Terry and his wife Doreen of Calgary; Ralph and his children Candice and Kyle of Calgary; Kevin and his daughter Kathy of Calgary; and Brad of Charlottetown. He is predeceased by his father Keith, his brother Kenny (aged fifteen months) and sister Kathy (aged three years). Rick grew up in Pinette, Prince Edward Island; moved to Calgary in 1976 and became an electrician. He married Belinda Currie in 1984 and later moved to Ottawa where they had two children. Rick has lived in Calgary for the past nine years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Leyden's Funeral Home, 304 - 18 Avenue SW, Calgary.
