Mohamed, Yusuf Wrapped lovingly in the arms of thine Angels. Yusuf Mohamed passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on June 11, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Zaefa. Loving father of Fareena (Nazim) , Zareefa (Ray) , Safinaz (Tasso) , Rabie (Shareef) Roweena (Ken) , Zybina (Eion) , Hasieba (Patrick) , Azam (Karen) Shakira (Steven) Shireen. Cherished grandfather of Ansari, Rayaz, Hamza Jr. Yusuf, Imran, Natasha, Angela, Gregory, Andrew, Jason, Gabriella, Naila, Maleeka, Steven, Sophia. Great-Grandfather of Ansari Jr. and Jada. He will be sadly missed by his surviving siblings Aisha, Wahab (Fatima) , Samad (Afroze) and Nazo, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends. Our gratitude to the phenomenal team of Doctors and Nurses at the CCU (especially Linda and Pricilla) , Emergency and Intensive Care Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital. Visitations will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans on Thursday, June 12, 12:00 p. m. to 2:00 p. m. and 6:30 p. m. to 10:30 p. m. Prayer service will be held at the Ottawa Mosque 251 Northwestern Avenue (at Scott Street) 613-722-8763 – 1:00 p. m. then to the Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road 613-829-3600 for his final resting place.
