NORTHRUP, JUDITH "JUDIE" (THOMSON) The death of Judith "Judie" (Thomson) Northrup of Tay Creek, NB, wife of Ron Northrup, occurred on Saturday October 30, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB she was the daughter of Margaret (Smith) Thomson of Penniac, NB. Judie was involved with the Maritime Draft Horse Association and was a past member of the C.W.L with St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Stanley, NB. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by two sons, Courtenay (Kandi Gallagher) of Tay Creek, NB and Chris (Michelle) of Stanley NB; one brother William Thomson of Penniac, NB; four grandchildren Jessica Northrup, Bailey Northrup, Alyson Northrup and Morgan Northrup; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Carey Northrup and one sister Beth McDade. Although there will be no visitation upon request of the family, a graveside service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Tay Creek, NB on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 2PM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be Harry Storey, Bob Anderson, Brian Brewer and Stan Patterson. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Cancer Research Society or to a charity of the donor's choice this would be appreciated by the family.
